With eyes of steel and heart of flame, The wolf pursued the fleeting game. Its paws left earth, the air grew thin, A reckless leap, a fateful sin. For wings it lacked, though hope it bore, The ground below began to roar. The bird flew free, a mocking sight, While the wolf fell, lost to the night. In search of food, it met its doom, Ambition turned to a quiet tomb. A tale of hunger, bold yet grim, Of chasing heights not meant for him.
